Adventures in Primary

We just got called to Primary to teach children ages 5-6. Sean had quite the experience for his first day yesterday and his little angels turned out to be little monsters, but in his words little hellions. I will try to quote from his story as best as possible, so here it goes. I let him teach primary by himself yesterday, because Audrey needed to stay home because she has a cough and cold. He said during the primary when all the children were combined the two little girls in his class were perfect little angels. In the back of his mind he thought oh this should be easy, because the girls were behaving so well. Anyways, when he brought them into class the girls started being sassy right when they walked through the door, by saying we are not sitting on chairs. We are sitting on the floor, so they did. Sean said he literally had to ask them questions every five seconds, just to keep them entertained. He said that he had a church video and the girls immediately were against it and said if it was a church video they would not watch it. Sean turned on the video anyways and said that they got through a third of it. He said during class the girls decided it would be funny to have a screaming contest and they purposely tried farting a lot... poor guy, but I can't help and laugh about it. Also, the girls decided it would be funny to give Brother Young a new name. At first they asked can we call you "Brother Poo", he said "No", then the little girls said how bout "Brother Pee" He said No. The little girls said not like Pee, But like the letter P. He said no, but they called him Brother P the rest of class. Oh where has there innocence gone, during those moments you wonder. We love kids, but know they are difficult sometimes and look forward to our year in primary. Hope everyone has a happy new year!!

Oh man poor Sean sounds rough. Who would have guessed two sweet little girls would turn out to be hellions lol (I like the word he used) Hopefully it goes more smoothly next time. Have a great New Years!
